We are so pleased to be able to report that, in spite of everything, throughout last year we provided 732 hours of support to 74 men in the community. Our most intensively supported service user received a massive 53 hours of support over the year. We are proud that we achieved 200 positive outcomes: supporting men into accommodation, with benefits and health issues as well as getting them into volunteering and training.
More importantly, over the last 12 months, 57 of the men who we supported have stayed out of prison for a year or more. It costs £40,000 a year to keep a man in prison - so WYCCP Resettlement Service have saved the state more than £2million in the last year!
